It was raining cats n dogs last Saturday which gave me the feelings of staying @ home all day. But thinking of the Iftar tradition that we have had each year motivates me to overcome the laziness in me. Initially thought of making the 'murtabak maggie' for the small contribution but ended up bringing samosa which hubby had brought from Geylang that morning. Well, blamed it on my contractor that he went off at 6 pm. Hurried ourselves and caught a cab in the drizzling rain.. It was 2 mins before Azan that we'd reached uncle Jasman's. Almost everybody were already reached there except uncle Jasmin and aunt Jasmaneah.

A chaos occured before minute of Azan which of coz my sis Maya and uncle Jasman became the limelights. Sis was holding my baby when she slipped and fell. I was in the kitchen busy heating up the samosa when the incident happened. Saw he already fell on the floor and heard somebody said,

" Baik Izzati tak ada apa-apa"

I was blured for a while thinking what's in the world it had to do with my daughter and eventually I've learnt that she nearly fell down while sis Maya was holding her in her arms. Thank Allah that nobody was hurt incldg uncle Jasman. Hey.. shld see the looks on aunt Aishah's face. She was extremely perturbed.

Well, while the rest of them were performing the jemaah terawih , we were in the room, doing what cozen do when they meet up! Shikin was lethargic after coming back from AC Collection (yes, her new workplace) and was not feeling well too. But hey, when we meet up, all the nonsense and craps will brightened up our day. Sis Let'ya busy snapping pics of us to put on her blog. And yes, my baby Izzati became the one night model for the day..

Decided to call it a night after Izzati became exasperated and started to cried non stop ever since she was knocked with something in Yaya's room. Took a cab and went straight back home. Changed her clothes & diappers and yes 'induced' her with bottle of milk and minutes later she was in dreamland.

What a night to start the weekend iftar; can't wait for this weekend at gram's which of course known for her delicious and appetizing dishes. Hhhmm..I've miss her cooking already..

Miszunderstood
