CONGRATS, dear brother....
It was 3 years ago that we (me and my younger bro, Salehin) attended classes at SSDC (Singapore Safety Driving Centre) but unfortunately he was the one who finally made it. I had to give up half way because of certain circumstances that I had to prioritize.
And now after having the class 3 license, he finally succeeded in getting the class 2A for motorcycles. Wow! It's such an advantage to know how to drive and ride.
**sigh*
Aku bila lagi agaknya?
Sometimes I really do admire him eventhough he's younger than me.
At his age, he's already succeeded in achieving goals in his life. Having know to drive at 19, graduate at 20, got into ns at 21, and now his dream of getting his own bike in the age of 22.
No wonder he was lauded by my parents especially my dad. He's always been my brother's inspiration and motivation. Anything that he ever wants will always be granted!
Tak payah mintak, cakap ajer mesti dapat pya!
Hahaha... sometimes I have to admit that I DO get JEALOUS at times.
But he deserves it! Really I swear...
A few days ago, the day that he passed his TP test. He told my dad that he wanted to purchase a bike but with an instalments. Hahaha.. juz as I expected;
Dad: Buat apa nak bayar instalments pakai duit ayah dululah....
Serious??!!!
The bike that my brother had aimed for is a new model from Italy. It's called Gilera.
** Huh??! Gila.. arrr**
The cost? 6.3k
Hai tak lama lagi ada motor, lah adik aku nie.
Aku jugak macam ni.
Nevertheless, I'm happy and proud for him, May he triumph in life and bring proud to the family. InsyaA'llah.
Luv your sis

My Bundle of Joy
Tomorrow will be 2 weeks old for Izzah. It seems that she's beginning to recognise people around her especially me. I've read somewhere in a book that says an infant can start recognising her mum from one week old.
No wonder whenever I start talking to her,
she will response in a way by smiling back at me.
Well, here's how she metamorphoses from the day she was born
So here she is during...

**1 day old**
And then...
**1 week old**
Finally now she's....

It has only been a week and 4 days that I have stayed here at MUM'S.
But I've already miss home so much! Poor hubby, he needs to go back home every weekends by himself to check whether everything is fine down there. I've been counting days actually for me to return back to Punggol.
**Ssshhhh.... don't tell mum 'bout it *
Anyway, I've brainwashed her yesterday that I really need to go back home next Saturday.
Well, after so much thoughts and consideration, she agreed.
Yeayy! Muacks! Luv you mum.
Actually, my in-laws have been waiting for us to return home in order for them to visit us. 'Cause if I were to wait till my confinement are over, that will be somewhere during Ramadhan. Obviously, not a good time for visiting especially with all the
preparations and Terawihs going on.
Like they say,

In the still of the NIGHT
**yawning wif my eyes half opened**
Like all newly mums, I was awakened by the cries of the lil one in the middle of the nite. Looking after the newborn can be daunting, especially at night-time. However, Mother Nature ensures that the lil ones get what she needs regardless of the wee small hours. Hubby and I took turns in feeding her, well since her last feed time was around 5.30am, I decided to do my turn. Apart from the feedings, nappy changes are part of the nite routine too. Normally, I will change her nappy before her feed. This will make her calm and automatically make sleeping more easier after the feeding especially with a cleaned-bottom.
Do you ever wonder why babies always wake up in the middle of the night for several times?
It's actually because when your baby was in your womb, she had no sense of night and day, and when you bring her home, this continues for at least the first three months.
Well, I guess that I'll need to wait till another month for me to get a comfy and undisturb night.

A Big Sis Now....
Izzati has been behaving differently these days.
Obviously, it's because of the presence of her younger sister, Izzah. Like all toddlers, they will definately behaving the same way too.
Guess what??
She woke up this morning; crying and asked me to carry her. Since I'm in such a state,
I couldn't bring myself to do so; not to mention lifting heavy things.
Poor girl! My mum came and carried her; while trying to console and explain things to her.
Elated.
Yup, she's always elated whenever her dad reaches home.
Like any other days, she will ask her dad to carry her before he could lie down on the sofa.
** raising her arms towards him**
Izzati: Papa, dukung papa....
Papa: Izzati, papa penatlah...
Nevertheless, he never disappoints his loves one. Poor daddy!

WELCOME TO THIS WORLD
Hola..
Well, it's been almost half a year that I've chronicled my journal here. Reasons??
Simply lazy?? Hhmmm.. quite close but to be exact I'm too occupied with my pregnancy and probably its due to this darn computer which has been creating problems for the past few months. **sigh**
Nevertheless, I would like to introduce you to a new member in the family. Weighing almost 3 kg, NUR IZZAH ARDINI has been brought into this world on 13 Sept 2004 at 1455h. Giving birth to her really brings more joys in the family especially to Izzati. No doubt that she's still 2 years old it seems that she can take care of her lil sis whenever she cries.
**kissing and stroking her sis head**
Izzati: Jangan nangislah, nanti kakak suap..
Izzati: Mama, dia nak susu..
I simply smiled at her and wonder how grateful I am to have such a sagacious and endearing daughter. Probably, they are closely bonded due their birthdays. Well, we were juz finished celebrating Izzati's b'day on Sun,12 Sept when I started to have contraction pains at night. Without any hesitation, hubby and I rushed to the hospital which we almost reached there at midnight. I was warded in the antenatal ward before I was brought to the Delivery Suite the next day. And on 13 Sept at 2.55 pm, I've safely given birth to a healthy and charming baby girl. You see, that explains it all! InsyaAllah, hoping that both of them will be caring and loving to each other.
Like all people, my friends are asking how am I doing and they are dying to see the lil ones. Since I am staying at my mum's place here in Pasir Ris during the confinement, seems that they need to wait till I return home to Punggol. Hmm.. let me see, that will be 1 month from now which falls somewhere during Ramadhan (fasting month). Hai, looks like it will be after Hari Raya that they could visit my child. By the time, Izzah will be 2 months old!
Yeah before I end up my journal for today, I would like to convey my heartful thanks to all my dearest friends for all the advices and tips during my 9 months pregnancy. It was such an emotional but yet an enjoying moment in my life. Well, I really treasure our motherhood-relationships while working there in Ultro.
To Alice and Iris, wishing you both a healthy and safety pregnancy!
Rgds... Siti Saleha
