Salam Maal Hijrah 1427H

While our fellow chinese is still celebrating their new year, muslims from worldwide are celebrating the new Hijrah year with prayers today. Awal Muharram marks an important date in the Muslim calendar for the new Hijrah year. Its is a significant day for Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) migration from Makkah to Madinah 1427 years ago.
My resolution for this year, to resolve and rectify the mistakes and overcome the turmoil within myself and to develop better knowledge of the Islamic history. Cause I believe the only pillar that will hold us strong is when u noe your history well. It seems that our young generations tend to forget the history or rather ignorant or maybe they are religiously illiterate. And all these contributed to the exposure of the undesirable elements around them. Before this, I heard lots of stories whom some of our fellow muslims already became MURTARD. Nauzubillah.. And because of this too, I realise how vulnerable and susceptible we are if we dont have a solid fundamental.
Ya Allah, sesungguhnya Kaulah yang berkuasa ke atas segala-galanya. Dan aku bermohon kpdmu, kuatkanlah imanku dan tabahkan hatiku agar aku dapat mengharungi liku-liku kehidupan ini. Amin.
The spirit of those who love Islam never fades as long they comply to the Messenger of God's teaching, Prophet Muhamad(PBUH).
Buat saudara Islam ku,
Selamat Menyambut Awal Muharram 1427H.

We miss you
Its been almost a month my parents were away and finally they are coming back this Saturday, InsyaAllah. Everything happened so quickly for the past one month. And I've been spending most of my time at my mum's place. Had a little family gathering with my mum's side on Aidiladha. The last time we were celebrating it without them was back in '92 when they had their 1st trip to Haj with my late grandma. I was in secondary school and my siblings were still small then. But now, when they have grown up and more independent, my parents thinks its time they perform their 2nd pilgrimage. And now, we are old enuff to take care of ourselves without my parents worry about our affair.
Siapa sangka my adik yg dulunya kecil telah bergelar makcik dan pakcik!! hahaha.. Dah boleh hidup berdikari pun masing-masing. My sis became a part-time nanny at home, menggantikan my mum. Izzati eventually managed to adapt herself with the school, thks to her mak ngah who had been a great help sending and fetching her daily during our absence due to the busy working schedule. Thks sis, you'll be looking forward for a handsomely allowance at the end of the month. She's been a good nanny for the past few weeks, taking care of the house, fixing a good homely meal and addition to that taking care of dad's business catering during his absence. Well you really did a terrific job maya! Mum will be so proud of you knowing her daughter's credibility. So am I !! You should read her busy like a bee daily chronicles.
Hmmph! Enuff said about my sis, guess what?? After 16 months of waiting and tolerance, Izzah finally has learn to walk. Yeayness!! Still, these words lingers in my head before dad's departure to Mecca. Kinda phenomenon.
Dad: Tengok jer, nanti datuk balik dari Haji, Izzah dah pandai jalan dan cakap.
Me: Mana ayah tahu??
Dad: Tak percaya, tengok jer...
Wow! True indeed! Dengan restu dan doa datuk di tanah suci juga dengan keizinan Allah swt, Izzah now has been walking around the house, in and out of the rooms, showing off her prankish moves. She even know how to say, noyang and ngah. Alhamdulillah, syukur. You juz don't know how lethargic to carry a 12 kg of baby in your arm nonstop. **winks** I received this somewhere last two weeks.
sms: Izzah dah pandai jln lom?
Its from dad, maybe he's missing the lil' ones. Well, I replied him mms with Izzah walking. He was so delirious upon receiving the mms. But he's more delighted to see her with his own eyes I think. Couldn't wait for this Saturday. Too bad I failed to apply for a leave on that day since 2 of my colleagues already submitted earlier. Tsk tsk tsk...
I've been working 2 weeks straight even on the weekends. And the best part is that, I was required to report back to work tomorrow, working in microbiology lab. Yucks! Hate it so much!!! Can they actually install an air freshner in there?? Can someone suggest that? How could you work in an environment like that for goodness sake. Most of them are already immune to the smell there. So i guess, they can't even smell their own shit!! Thank goodness we only receive micro specimens in general lab. Like chemistry, mostly we handle blood, urine, csf and pleural fluid but to think of handling stools and sputums; it juz not for me. Well anyway, it'll be only 4 hours tmrw and I still can have a rest day on Tuesday. After that, it will be 3 days before they are back home. Rindu serindu rindunya....
I cook a simple pasta today brought by my friend from LA last 2 weeks. Ironically, it actually taste nice nurin. Tks alot!

Everybody knows that I was such a fool
To ever let go of you, but baby I was wrong
Yeah I know I said we'd be better off alone
It was time that we moved on
I know I broke your heart
I didn't mean to break your heart
But baby here I am
Banging on your front door
My pride spilled on the floor
My hands and knees are bruised
And I'm crawling back to you
Begging for a second chance
Are you gonna let me in?
I was running from the truth
And now I'm crawling back to you
I know you're in there
And you can make me wait
But I'm not gonna wait
It's the least that I can do
Just to tell you face-to-face
I was lying to myself
Now I'm dying in this hell
I know you're mad
I can't blame you for being mad
But baby here I am
If you can save these tears from crying
Touch these hands that can't stop shaking
Hear my heart that's barely beating
You will see a different man
But baby here I am
Crawling back to you

A New Chapter 2006
Farewell 2005, its been a roller coaster ride but I'm glad and thankful it all ended mirthfully.
I started my new chapter for 2006 with three occassions.
My parents' departure to Mecca for their 2nd Haj.
Date/Time: 4 Jan'06 @ 0600hrs SQ8006

Had a lil kenduri doa selamat for my parents on the 1 Jan'06. And I'm glad it went smoothly till I wasn't even realised we were already on our way to send mum and dad off to the airport in the wee hours of the night. Relatives started coming at 2 am juz to say their farewell and sending them off for their flight. I thank them for their thoughts and kindness. We were all tearing except my bro Salehin. But later in the afternoon, dad's sms brought smile on my faces when he said' "Ayah dah selamat sampai". It was 1010 in the morning, Jeddah's time.
To you my beloved mum and dad,
May you have a safe journey, blessed with great health dan mendapat haji mabrur. Amin

Date/Time: 4 Jan'06 @ 1000hrs @ PAP Kindergarten
Coincidently, it was Izzati first day of school when both her grandparents were away.
Initially, she was calm when suddenly she saw few students started crying and she started crying too. Oh gosh!! I can't go anywhere for few minutes until I managed to pacify her to stay put with her friends. When she was engross playing with the rest of the kids, I excused myself telling her I need to go to the ladies and off I went back. Hubby and me, like other parents were religiously peeping at the windows and I'm glad she was fine after that.
To my sweet and bubbly Izzati,
Hopefully you become a good sister, daughter and a good student. May you succeed in life and bring proud to both mama and papa. You know that we are always here whenever you need us.
Semoga menjadi anak yg Soleha dan hormat pada yg tua.

Happy 4th Wedding Anniversary
Date: 5 Jan'06
Well, the past 4 years have been great and I look forward for more. Was back in '99 where we had that love at first sight in SIA and bam! Least that we know, we are now a proud parents to two adorable kids. Time really past and those sweet words, harsh words, shouting and laughters, they are all parts n parcels of marriage. Sometimes there were times when I shout and scold, yes I admit I was wrong but that doesn't mean my love for you wither. Having a marriage is like walking on a rocky road. That is why I need someone like you to walk with me so that my journey would be much more smoother.
To my dearest Hubby Ashik,
May our love stays in our heart till eternity. Dan semoga kita sekeluarga sentiasa di dalam keredhaan Allah SWT.
And to all my fellow muslims,
May we receive the Blessings of Allah in our endeavours to improve our personalities.
Amin.

Hitched

After a long 9 years of rocky journey, they had finally made it. Personally, the thought of them getting hitched had left a profound effect on me. I realy envy for both of them; not on the negative side but I shared the happiness they're going through. Maybe partly, it brings me the memories of the yesteryears back in our secondary school days when we were wif our loved ones. But all that were our past and everything change. For one thing that remains is the love and trust that they are holding on till now. I'm really so proud of you guys!
Juz a lil' message to the everlasting couple,
Fairos & Lydiana
Relationship and marriage are two different worlds. One can preserve a few years of relationship but to uphold a marriage till eternity that depends on how we take control of it.
Marriage is based on love, trust, longanimity and a lil bit of give and take. Hehehe.. well I'm still learning basking and engulfing in my 4 years of matrimonial bliss. Anyway, may you guys be blessed with endless happiness and bundle of joy.
Selamat melayari mahligai bahtera. Semoga kekal hingga ke syurgawi.
