She's In It!

I received an unexpected call from her early last week regarding her final top 10 position in it.
Hmmm.. she's none other than Rosmariza, the fren whom I met in recent audition for Anugerah. So I guess my intuition is right straight from the beginning.

Well, its not an easy journey being the top 30 out from 800 contestants. Back in Cineleisure, where they had their recent attempt to 'kick' another 10 contestants, (5 males n 5 females) she was blessed to be chosen as the top 10. So, this is it, the beginning of her journey to fame.

"Nanti you watch lah the 1st episode on 10 April.. I tak nak bilang dulu (where they had the elimination)"

"... hahaha.. nanti kalau dah famous, jgn lupa kita eh."

Well, once again, congrats and all the best. Impian tidak akan menjadi kenyataan tanpa pengorbanan dan kesungguhan.

Tidak sia-sia awak mencuba untuk kali kedua, Ros. I'm really happy for you!

first drawing

Since her first commencement, Izzati has been so excited and thrillful going to school.

"Zaty, dah pergi sekolah tadi?" while teasing her on the phone, eventhough I knew it was school hols.

" Nenek tu, tak kasi kakak pergi sekolah. Abih, takkan kakak nak go to school sorang-sorang?"

I couldnt control my laughter and thinking this girl here is really something. She has been learning well at school and had shown great impressment. Her natural ability to express her ideas eloquently has obviously boost her morale. She even thought her sister songs that she had learnt from school. Lucu nyer..

Anyway, something amazed us one day. Coyly as she was pouting and gleaming, she handed me her white board and I was so stunned to see an amusing picture on it. I dont know but it juz made me cry to actually witness my daughter's first drawing. Sejak bila budak ni pandai melukis pulak?? Well, its natural for a mum like me to feel dis way. I showed hub and we really had a good laugh. Hmm.. maybe I'll share this one with you.

Notice there's always 2 tiny circles on the body? Wanna noe whats dat? Hmm.. I'll let u decide

Her version of 'papa'. I wonder how mama will look like, then..

Her ever first drawing, so proud of you, my dear.

Troubled

What am I doing here as early as 7, when this is the time I normally getting ready for work. Sitting here abandon and lonely, I put away my thoughts, cast aside my feelings but still I am sailing deep into the ocean of contemplation. Whats becoming of me these days?? I lose weight, skipped my meals and basically I even look dysphoric. Most of my time I spent many disquieted moments alone puzzled, confused and obscure.

Yesterday was indeed an incident while I was on castle in the air, a patient walked in and least that I realised she was calling out my name from the staff pass I'm wearing. She had been sitting there for a while and thinking that I might served her later. Oh boy! Iwas profoundly sorry and apologised to her. And later I accidentally greet my Doctor by calling his name. Omg! I could still remember the look on his face but lucky for me he didnt mind at all. But I did rectify my mistake later. **blush** So sorry Dr Kuperan..

Whatever emotions or thoughts that I have now, it definately execute the impression of the people around me. Thus, its time to buck up! I hope I'm strong to do this.

Thks dear, for being there when I need someone to lean on... ( u noe who you are)

ps: i hate it when i'm supposed to post in this kind of entry. It feels so miserable.

Mummy Dearest..

First it was my auntie who was discharged from hospital due to her breast cancer. Then followed by cozen khairul who was admitted last wed. And 24 hrs later, it was mum.

For the past 2 months, mum has been menstruating non stop. From the moment she took off for Haj and deteriorate after coming back. Initially, we suspected that it was part of the menopause symptoms but it wasn't. After sending her off to the hospital yesterday morning for her check-up and ultrasound scan, the doctor discovered that she had needs to be operated immediately. I was like " huh?? ... ". The confusion on my face speaks a thousand words. I just couldn't believe what I'd just heard. But mum on the other hand was calm and undisturbed by the news. Thus, they decided to admit her on arrival. Initially mum was supposed to be in OT today but since she was feeling a bit indisposed today with her fever, it was postponed. What makes me feel terrible is that if only she was admitted in TTSH, the least I could do is to monitor her condition and her blood tests. Sorry mum ; (

Being the mum that I know, the word 'fatigued' is never been in her dictionary. Since young till now, her indefatigable lifestyle has been a trademark. And dad never stop grumbling seeing her arduous work of marketing and activities at mosque. She never likes to sit still at home doing nothing and that is why my children are there in the first place. Its her request to look after the kids. "Kalau tak mummy boring lah kat rumah.". that is what she would say.
Personally , I really can't be like her. I think if there's any human robot which can do house chores, the machine will go into pieces first!

Speedy recovery mum..

ps: lepas ni tolong jangan kerja berat-berat lagi ok..?

Thks to nor and denise for your thoughtful visit. ; )
