Farewell Nursery
Finally, term 4 had ended and it was Izzati's farewell party yesterday in school. We received her report card again and unlike before, we are very much elated and glad that she has done well in her studies and curiculum. Alhamdulillah, she had shown a great improvement this time round. From an extreme introvert to a rather kind less pemalu. She's more open now and loves being enveloped by her friends. Frankly, we have been monitoring her changes but it was hari raya days that was most prominent. She feels more at ease mixing around even though she hasn't even meet them. Syukur, finally she has found her comfort zone.
I notice something in her report card that she's more competent in these areas where she has scores most As;
social & emotional development, aesthetic & creative expression (she enjoys singing,drama n music),
self-help skills and language & literacy skills.
Teacher's remark
1st semester:
' Izzati is a quiet and gentle girl who enjoys rhythmic movement. There is still room for improvement in her letter recognition. '
2nd semester:
' Izzati is a good-natured girl who gets a long well with her peers. I am pleased to see her improvement in letter recognition. Keep up the good work! '
Well, so much for nursery. We'll be preparing her for K1 next year and the booklist is here to penetrate a hole in my pocket! Baru K1 belum lagi primary school.

So much for Idulfitri
Attended the annual ttsh event for Hari Raya Concert last friday and glad that hun was able to accompany me even it requires him to come all the way from Changi to Novena. The theme this year, Nostalgia Aidilfitri. Its kinda oldies where all the songs were picked from the 60's till 80's. I don't actually mind abt that but what perturbed me and infact everyone was the poor service by the deejay and the sound system that they had brought in. Its kinda disturbing when in the middle of the show, your songs went 'hick-ups' and then worst still when you were left with no choice but to get back to the back stage in order to start it all over again. What a shame! Fizah initiated us to join next yr show. Hmm.. frankly, I missed those sec sch moments performing every year. I was so active in stage performance and that reminds me the last show I was involved in, was the hari raya show in '98. Gosh I really missed those vibrant days.. Makes me wanna dig out all those memorable pix. We shall see next year then.
On the other hand, I held an open house on the very next day. Was not an easy day for me since hun was called up for a mobilisation exercise and mind you, he was needed to stay overnight in camp. Wonder when he's going to stop serving reservice. So, I was all alone cooking, cleaning and taking care of the lil' ones since mid noon. Guests started to flow in from 3 onwards and I'm gladful that mum, dad and the whole family came for a sleepover. Thank you guys!

To my dearest beloved friend, Denise, here's wishing you a very Happy 24th Birthday.
May you are blessed with good health, merry moments and endless happiness till eternity. Hopefully you love the tulips and the cakes. Well, they say, 'The best way to cheer yourself is to try to cheer somebody else up.'
Thanks for being my great friend coz a real friend is one who walks in when the rest of the world walks out. And remember dear, whenever you're in conflict with someone, there is one factor that can make the difference between damaging your relationship and deepening it. That factor is attitude.
