The College of American Pathologist Audits
Finally, the CAP Audit is over, well at least for this year. After all the hard works and preparations, we have done it again! Soon, we'll be receiving the new Certificate of Accreditation from The College of American Pathologist. The inspectors have concluded that DPLM is fine for re-accreditation based on comprehensive inspections. This has been an annual audit and personally, I'm glad that this is the second year I took part in the exercise despite all the last min preparations. And the sweetest and unforgetable moment??? Hahaha.. of coz the time when one of the delegates requested to have a pic taken with him whilst I was working the lab. I could still recall my dear colleagues were laughing away when they saw me taking the pic with the 'ang moh'. LOL!!! As long as my face did not come up in the New York Times sudahhlahh... And lastly, welcoming the VIP early in the morning tru' the DPLM Counter Reception is a great honour..hahaha..
Like Dr Prabha had said, "We have reason to be truly proud of ourselves and our laboratory. Let's congratulate ourselves and keep up the good work, always looking for ways to make TTSH a better place for our patients...and if not for every individual's effort, we wouldnt have come this far to reach a world-class standard !"
And as a reward, all of us are given a box of chocs each. Sweet??
On a lighter note, I've already got that G3 which i've always dreamt of. Wonder how this 'fruit from heaven' does the magic? I've got to try first. But before that, I'm going to scan and measure my skin carotenoid score at Parkmall aft work tmrw. Its the one of a kind Pharmanex BioPhotonic Scanner that measures the antioxidant level in our bodies. Since my cuzen and granny are having it, I'm going to try as well. Hmm.. i juz notice that I'm beginning to use most of the Pharmanex products since the last one I bought was Marine Omega. Well, hopefully all these supplements work for me.
Until then, if you could excuse me, I need to prepare something special for my cuzen's engagment this coming wekkend. Till I blog agn ladies..
